Arrive at Xiamen airport or railway station, meet your private driver with a name sign and transfer to your city hotel. We pre-book your room; you only need to show passports/IDs to check in. If rooms are not ready before 14:00, you can store luggage at the front desk and start exploring nearby.

Gulangyu Island
Take a ferry (about 20 minutes) to Gulangyu, known as a “Sea Garden” and “Piano Island”.
About 3.5 hours to wander through colonial villas, consulates, churches and narrow streets.
Walk along the “World Architecture Expo Line” past former British and Japanese consulates, Catholic church, Union Church, Hai Tian Tang Gou (exterior), Huang Rongyuan Hall (exterior) and Lin Qiaozhi Memorial Garden, learning about Xiamen’s overseas Chinese history.
Check in at Instagram-famous spots such as “Most Beautiful Corner”, the “boat house” and other small photo locations.
Afternoon tea & free time on Gulangyu
Enjoy local-style fruit tea and snacks at Nangang Fish Shop or similar, and receive a Gulangyu stamp booklet to collect stamps on the island.
After tea, you get about 40 minutes of free time along Longtou Road or Hougangzai Beach, for beach walks, photos or extra snacks.

Nanputuo Temple
First built in the Tang dynasty, one of South Fujian’s most famous Buddhist temples.
See Tianwang Hall, Mahavira Hall, Avalokitesvara Hall and other buildings, with statues of Maitreya, Shakyamuni and Avalokitesvara.

Hotel Deposits & Check-in – Most hotels require a refundable deposit of around ¥200–800 per room at check-in, returned at check-out if no damage or extras. Check-in after 14:00, check-out before 12:00.
Room Types – For 3 travelers, hotels may arrange an extra bed or family room where available; otherwise, single-room supplement applies.
Children – Child price (2–12 years) typically includes vehicle seat only; no bed, no tickets and no breakfast unless specified. Tickets and meals are based on height and hotel/scenic policies.
Documents – Chinese minors under 16 must use ID cards or household registers; infants use birth certificates/household registers. Foreign travelers should carry valid passports and visas.
Tour Order – To avoid congestion or manage weather, the order of visits may be adjusted while keeping the main scenic spots.
Weather & Clothing – Xiamen and Dongshan have subtropical marine climates: hot, humid summers and mild winters. From May–June is rainy/monsoon season; July–September is typhoon season. Bring sun protection, light clothes, umbrella/raincoat and non-slip shoes.
Seafood & Health – Xiamen is famous for seafood; avoid over-eating and avoid mixing large amounts of seafood with beer and cold watermelon to prevent stomach issues.
