Welcome to Xi’an, ancient capital of 13 dynasties.

Arrive in Xi’an by flight or train. Your private driver will meet you at the airport or station with a name sign and transfer you directly to your hotel. At check-in, you may be asked to pay a refundable deposit (around ¥100–300/room), which is returned at check-out if there is no damage or loss.

Visit the Ming-era Xi’an City Wall, built in early Ming under Zhu Yuanzhang’s policy of “build high walls, store grain widely, and bide your time”.
One of China’s four best-preserved ancient city walls, about 12 m high, 12–14 m wide on top, 15–18 m wide at the base, rectangular in plan and 13.74 km long.

Bell & Drum Towers Square stands at the crossroads of east-west and north-south avenues.
The Bell Tower (east side) and Drum Tower (west side) have stood for over 600 years, guarding the old city center.
Walk into Muslim Quarter, Xi’an’s most famous snack street, where you can try:

Drive from Xi’an to Huaqing Palace, the most iconic Tang-culture scenic area.

Mount Huashan (West Yue Huashan)
After breakfast at about 07:00, depart around 08:00 for the scenic area, arriving roughly 08:30:
Mount Huashan is known as “the most dangerous mountain under heaven”, the highest of the Five Great Mountains.
Sheer cliffs, deep valleys and dramatic ridges define its vertical landscape.
Highlights include:
“Sparrow Hawk Turn” – clinging to chains and stone steps, turning sharply on near-vertical rock.
“Canglong Ridge” – a narrow, sky-crossing ridge.
Optional extreme spots such as Chang Kong Plank Road (self-pay, for experienced visitors only).

Itinerary adjustments – Without reducing scenic spots, the guide may adjust the daily order based on real-time conditions. If force majeure, government policy or scenic-area reasons cause temporary closure, the agency will rearrange the schedule or refund tickets at agency discount prices only; other losses are not covered.
ID & hotel deposits – Adults (16+) must bring valid ID cards/passports; children must bring household registries. Hotels charge a deposit of about ¥100–300/room, payable at check-in and refundable if no damage occurs.
Rooms & single supplement – Many Xi’an hotels do not provide triple rooms or extra beds. Guests who naturally end up in single rooms must pay the single supplement.
High season traffic – Xi’an often has many tour groups and conferences, coach resources can be tight and sometimes “loop buses” are used; traffic jams and restaurant queues are possible. Please be patient.
Complaints & feedback – The Service Quality Survey Form you fill out locally is the main basis for handling disputes. If you do not mention issues on this form or via phone during the trip, services will be deemed satisfactory and post-trip claims may not be accepted.
Leaving the group early – Guests who leave the tour or change plans on their own are considered to have voluntarily given up services; unused portions are non-refundable. Extra costs and safety are the traveler’s responsibility.
Force majeure – Extra costs due to flight/train delays, natural disasters, etc. are at the traveler’s expense.
Safety – Keep valuables with you; do not leave valuables in the coach or hotel room. Travelers must ensure they are medically fit for the tour; the agency is not responsible for incidents from undisclosed health conditions.
Rainy season & slippery surfaces – In rainy weather, scenic paths and bathroom floors may be slippery; please walk carefully.

Mount Huashan is steep and physically demanding if you plan to hike large sections. However, with cableways and mountain buses, most visitors can choose lighter routes. Guests should wear non-slip hiking shoes, and those with heart disease or severe fear of heights should assess carefully.
