Welcome to Xi’an, ancient capital of 13 dynasties.
Essentials —
Arrive at Xi’an Airport or railway station, meet your private driver and transfer to your hotel. Check in with your name and pay a refundable deposit (commonly ¥100–300/room) at the front desk; it will be returned at check-out if no damages occur.
After check-in, the rest of the day is free at leisure with no fixed itinerary. Please take care of personal safety and belongings.

Proceed to the Emperor Qinshihuang’s Mausoleum Site Museum to see the Terracotta Warriors.

South Gate City Wall (Yongning Gate)
Visit Xi’an South Gate City Wall, part of China’s largest and best-preserved ancient city wall system.
It is also the only city wall structure in the first batch of national key cultural relics and served as a 2024 Spring Festival Gala sub-venue.
You can walk along the wall for views over both old and new Xi’an; optional bike rental is available at your own expense.

Shuyuan Men Cultural Street
Continue to Shuyuan Men, whose name comes from the historical Guanzhong Academy.
In Ming Wanli year 20 (1592), scholar Feng Congwu lectured here; later the Guanzhong Academy was built on the north side, with students numbering in the thousands – becoming a famed higher-learning institution.
Today, the street is lined with calligraphy, paintings, seals, steles, antiques and stationery shops.

Bell & Drum Towers Square & Muslim Quarter
Visit the city center – Bell & Drum Towers Square, the symbolic heart of Xi’an where two towers face each other across the main avenues.
Then walk to Muslim Quarter (Hui Min Street), Xi’an’s most famous food street. Here you can self-pay to try:
Beef/mutton paomo, soup dumplings, liangpi, honey cold cakes, roujiamo and more.

Yisu Theater Street Block
After lunch, stroll the Yisu Theater block, centered on Yisu Theater, a key birthplace of modern Qin opera.

Pickup service is included for all guests. Our driver or guide will be waiting at your chosen location with a name sign for easy recognition.
Itinerary Adjustments – Without reducing scenic spots, guides may adjust visit order based on actual conditions. If force majeure, government policy or scenic-area reasons cause temporary closure, the agency will re-arrange timing; if not possible, ticket cost at agency rate will be refunded, but other losses are not covered.
ID & Hotel Deposit – Adults (16+) must carry valid ID cards or passports; children must bring household registers. Hotels require a deposit of about ¥100–300/room, payable at check-in and refunded at check-out if no damage.
Rooming – Most Xi’an hotels cannot provide triple rooms or extra beds. Guests with natural odd-number rooming will need to pay a single supplement.
High Season Note – Xi’an often has many tour groups and conferences. Tourist buses may be tight and “loop buses” may be used; traffic and queues at restaurants may lead to waiting times – your patience and understanding are appreciated.
Complaints & Feedback – The Service Quality Investigation Form you fill out locally is the main basis for handling disputes. If you do not note problems on this form, or via phone while in Xi’an, the service will be considered satisfactory and post-trip claims may not be accepted.
Leaving the Group – Guests who leave the group mid-way or change itinerary on their own are deemed to have voluntarily given up services; fees cannot be refunded, and extra costs and safety are their own responsibility.
Force Majeure – Extra costs due to flight/train delays, natural disasters and other uncontrollable events are borne by travelers themselves.
Safety & Health – Keep valuables with you; do not leave valuables in the coach or hotel room. Guests must ensure they are physically fit to travel; the agency is not responsible for incidents caused by undisclosed health issues.
Rainy Season & Slippery Surfaces – During rainy weather, road surfaces in scenic spots and bathroom floors can be slippery; please walk carefully to avoid falls.

Yes. Walking is generally easy to moderate. Some places (city wall, Huaqing Palace, Terracotta Warriors) have steps and uneven surfaces; we recommend comfortable non-slip shoes for all ages.
